A guided return
to yourself

FOUNDING EDITION
Companion

“We can slow this down. What feels most important to notice right now?”

Perhaps you’ve been here

You know something is happening inside you.
You just don’t always know what to do with it.

A reaction feels bigger than the moment. One part of you wants to move forward while another pulls back. You understand the pattern later—but in the moment, it still takes over.

“Why do I keep doing this?”“I should be over this by now.”“Why can’t I just change?”

What if these reactions aren’t proof that something is wrong with you?
What if they are parts of you trying to help—in ways that once made sense?

Why I created this

I spent nearly 20 years trying to understand my inner life.

I read, reflected, struggled, and tried to change. Internal Family Systems became one of the most powerful frameworks I discovered—not because it gave me another label, but because it helped me meet myself differently.

I’m not an IFS therapist, practitioner, or clinical expert. I’m someone who applied these ideas extensively in ordinary life, learned what made them understandable, and shaped that lived experience into a journey others can actually use.

“My contribution isn’t a new psychological model. It’s making deep inner work feel simple, human, and possible to begin.”— Bilal, founder of ADRAR

Why ADRAR

Everyone has an ADRAR.

The name comes from somewhere deeply personal to me.

ADRAR is connected to where I came from—and to some of the happiest memories of my childhood. For me, it carries the feeling of home, belonging, and being close to myself.

As I built this journey, I began to realize something:

My ADRAR is not necessarily yours. But I believe everyone has one.

A place within your own story that feels like coming home to yourself.

This work isn’t about taking you back through my journey.

It’s about helping you understand your own.

Perhaps, little by little, it becomes time to go to your ADRAR.

Learn it. Live it. Return to it.

The course gives you a map.
The Companion helps you use it in real life.

01

Learn the language

Short, story-led lessons make a deep framework understandable without psychology jargon or prior IFS knowledge.

THE COURSE
02

Practice with patience

Guided reflections help you notice, listen, and relate to your inner world without forcing yourself to go deeper.

THE JOURNEY
03

Bring it into the moment

When something happens, open the Companion for a calm conversation that helps you remember and apply what you learned.

THE COMPANION

Support when the lesson becomes real

A compassionate place to pause.

The Companion doesn’t diagnose, direct, or push. It helps you slow down, notice what is present, and find your own next step using the language and practices from the course.

  • Responds with patience and permission
  • Helps connect real moments to course practices
  • Knows when not to push deeper
  • Available when life doesn’t wait for a lesson

Designed as an educational reflection tool—not therapy, crisis support, or a replacement for professional care.

CompanionReflection space

I got defensive again. I knew it was happening, but I couldn’t stop.

That sounds hard—and noticing it is already meaningful. Would it feel okay to slow down and get curious about what the defensive part was trying to protect?
